This picture of an Edwardian Kitchen was created entirely by digital means, using applications such as Adobe Photo shop, and Macromedia Fireworks. Elements of the image have been digitally created and reworked then fused into a whole to give the illusion of a real Edwardian kitchen.

Only one old photograph remained of Annie Rous, and that photograph was of her as an elderly lady. Digital enhancements of the scanned image were used as a basis for the recreation of Annie in a typical maids uniform of the time.
